Mission Statement

Eight international prestigious universities, chaired by TU Darmstadt, are participating in an initiative to conduct the first worldwide scientific study on “Global Engineering” starting in October 2005. Technology and learning are our passion, which is why Continental is supporting the “Global Engineering Study”.

As a leading international automotive supplier in the high-tech sector, Continental has actively promoted engineering education, reforms in academic systems, and the development of young engineers for many years. This commitment has now been integrated into a comprehensive Engineering Excellence initiative in close cooperation with eight international universities on three continents.

Continental strongly believes in partnerships with universities and is promoting this initiative as a responsible enterprise in a non-selfish way.
